Gnosis Chain will become Gnosis EEZ through a hard fork of its state, so every contract on Gnosis Chain carries over at the same address. There is no second deployment and nothing to migrate.

Why be a launch partner​

  • Be first to reach mainnet from an L2. Your contracts will call Ethereum mainnet in the same transaction, with no bridge and no wrapped assets. Mainnet liquidity, collateral and settlement, as if they were local.
  • Hands-on technical support. Work with the Gnosis engineering team as a design partner, from the Chiado testnet fork through to launch.
  • Build hybrid apps. Keep settlement and liquidity on Ethereum, and run your engines on Gnosis EEZ. Some apps already work this way: Derive settles on Ethereum and runs its options and margin engine on an L2. Over the next six months we are running hybrid-app exercises with the Gnosis engineering team to push what is possible, and we want existing Ethereum protocols to take part.
  • The whole zone, in reach. As other rollups and apps join the Ethereum Economic Zone, your app can reach them too, with no further integration work.

What you can build​

  • Lending markets. Canonical mainnet ETH as collateral, with no bridge or wrapper, and underwater positions liquidated into mainnet liquidity in the same transaction.
  • Options venues. Quote and match on 2-second blocks, then hedge, exercise or settle against mainnet spot atomically, from one pool of capital.
  • Perps venues. App-chain speed with margin straight from L1, and liquidation into L1 liquidity when limits are hit.
  • Prediction markets. Fast, cheap markets that settle in mainnet stablecoins, with idle collateral earning on L1 until resolution.
  • RWAs. Issue on mainnet and distribute through Gnosis EEZ. The token never leaves the issuer's contract, so transfer restrictions stay enforced.
  • Cross-zone tooling. Indexers, explorers, oracles, solvers and wallets that follow one transaction across chains and show it as one action.
  • Already live on mainnet? Settle on mainnet, scale on the EEZ. Keep contracts, liquidity and settlement on L1, and run matching, risk or pricing engines on Gnosis EEZ, with no sequencer, composer or prover of your own to run.

How to join​

  1. Deploy on Gnosis Chain mainnet. Deploy now takes you from an empty directory to a verified contract on mainnet in about 45 minutes. That deployment is what carries over at the fork.
  2. Register your contracts in the ecosystem directory. Addresses are checked on-chain before they are listed.
  3. Book a call with the ecosystem team to confirm the partnership and get access to the Chiado testnet fork when it opens. You can also reach the team on Discord.
